The cutters house double-sided, round carbide inserts with up to 12 effective cutting edges. Furthermore, an anti-rotation feature offers stability when milling at high feed rates.
The cutter bodies have been developed with a high clearance design that provides the flexibility to conduct pocketing and profiling, as well as 3-axis and 5-axis machining operations that include linear ramping and helical interpolation. This makes the Widia M200 suitable for everything from rough to semi-finish cutting.
The cutter body of the M200 is available as a screw-on, cylindrical end-mill, shell-mill or a Weldon type.
