The Vargus MilliPro HD thread milling tool is designed to produce threads as small as 2 mm (M2 x 0.4 – No 2-56 UN) in hard materials up to 62 HRc – applications where conventional tooling typically breaks.
With four flutes and two teeth, increasing tool life and reducing workload, MilliPro HD is available in styles for two times and three times diameter. It complements the MilliPro solid carbide thread mills designed for the creation of internal threads as small as M1.6 x 0.35. With three flutes each having three teeth tackles applications of thread depths up to three times diameter.
