Users, designing and building assembly machines, need to choose and customise various components including slides, grippers, actuators and rotary units. These have to be combined to obtain the desired movements on the machine, but component fixing systems rarely combine with those of the components themselves. It is therefore necessary to create adaptors to connect the parts together. This is where V-Lock comes in.
The V-Lock system from Metal Work can connect grippers, slides, rotary actuators and guide units together without the need for an adaptor of any kind. This is achieved by the dovetail profile: 40 mm wide extending the entire length. As a result, all that's required to join two components together is a special bracket and two screws, which simply join the two dovetails.
