Fanuc R2000iC robot suits press-to-press transfers

Press-to-press transfer applications are set to become faster, smoother and more compact, thanks to the R2000iC/100P rack-mounted industrial robot by Fanuc. The R2000iC/100P, which can be attached to a wall or ceiling, is a space-saving alternative to traditional, floor-mounted robots, making it a suitable solution for automotive (or automotive component) manufacturers with limited floor space.

The long, slender arm gives the robot a reach of up to 3.54 m, and facilitates cable routing and dress-out. Fanuc’s R2000iC/100P also features motor fan cooling systems, which allow it to perform continuous, high duty cycles with a repeatability of ±0.05 mm. The robot has a maximum axis speed of 210°/sec for shorter SPM (standard press motion) cycles.

Serving production lines handling larger parts, the six-axis robot offers high wrist moments and inertias of up to 1,000 Nm/227 kgm2. The robot itself can handle a maximum load of 100 kg.

As with the other models in the R2000iC series, the R2000iC/100P can be integrated with Fanuc’s latest software tools, including Dual Check Safety, iRVision and Learning Vibration Control.
