The merger of the three companies is set to be complete by the end of 2007 with the headquarters of the joint Walter, Titex and Prototyp operations will be at Unit 1, The Courtyard Buntsford Gate, Bromsgrove. The site boasts a 140 m sq demonstration area. “We have a clear aim, our route has been mapped out”, said Peter Witteczek, president and CEO of the new organisation which will be headquartered in Tübingen (Germany), currently the home of Walter AG. “Together we are stronger. In future, we will be offering our customers combined tooling solutions for complete machining throughout every sector of metal cutting. By joining forces, Walter, Titex and Prototyp are opening up new productivity potential and so enhancing the competitive standing of their customers”.
