Kaltenbach Ltd, the UK sales and service centre for the global Kaltenbach Group, has ceased representation of German machinery manufacturer Behringer GmbH.

The move, described as "a major strategic product initiative, with enhanced market focus and after-sales support in the UK", will see Kaltenbach focus on its core product ranges and enhanced Technical Services programme, launched earlier in 2013. During 2013, the company says it has has made significant strategic changes to satisfy current and future demands of the UK market place. This includes, major advances in the Kaltenbach machinery ranges and customer-focused support services, which start from project inception and continue throughout the full life cycle of machinery and systems. "The change allows us to focus completely on core Kaltenbach products, services and specialisation and further develop our business", says Barry Rooney, Kaltenbach's UK managing director, adding "Our ongoing innovation, consultancy, machinery and process support, will continue to bring ever-greater benefits to all our customers". Kaltenbach customers that have already purchased Behringer equipment will be able to continue to receive their technical support and benefit from the recent advances in the company's after-sales support services.
