ETG to hold Mastercam Open House in Co Kildare, Ireland

Engineering Technology Group is hosting a Mastercam Productivity & Intelligent Machining Event in Newbridge, Co Kildare from 21-23 April.

Engineering manufacturers from both Southern and Northern Ireland will have the opportunity to see Mastercam X8 in action on a variety of machines, including Hardinge Bridgeport XR760 High Production 3-Axis Mill, Hardinge Quaser MV154 3-Axis Mill, Nakamura Tome WT150 Twin Spindle, Twin Turret Lathe & Hardinge GS200 Lathe with C-Axis.

The ETG site was set up in Newbridge last year. It is now a vendor of Mastercam in southern and northern Ireland, where Mastercam is also sold by 4D Engineering of the UK.

All the cutting tools used by the machines at the event will be provided by Hard Metal from Iscar.

Many of Iscar's latest innovated technologies will be showcased, including HSM (High Speed Machining) technologies in solid carbide, new innovative drilling technologies, FMR (Fast Metal Removal) products such as new feed mill technologies, and the application and utilisation of Iscar's Groove/Turn systems.
