ETG Ireland to host open house event in September

From the 27 to th of September, the Engineering Technology Group (ETG) Ireland will be hosting an Open House event at its Newbridge facility in County Kildare. Themed ‘Discover Turnkey Excellence’, the event is not to be missed with live demonstrations of the very latest technology the industry has on offer.

The three-day event will present turnkey machining cells, workholding and tooling technology – all working in complete synergy as part of the live demonstrations. The machining presentations will be performed every day on a selection of machine tools from ETG principals that will include Mitsubishi and Quaser. Highlighting the latest innovations in machine tool automation, the ‘Discover Turnkey Excellence’ theme couldn’t be a more apt title for this exciting event.

With such an expansive portfolio of products and services on offer, manufacturers can speak with ETG experts that are both armed with the industry’s most comprehensive technology solutions as well as being dedicated to meeting the manufacturing challenges that businesses face. This combination will see ETG experts present all the latest technology on offer.

This will include the new line of fibre laser cutting technology from DNE Global, introductions to the wide range of machining, workholding and fixturing and automation solutions in the ETG portfolio as well as demonstrations of the very latest version of MasterCAM 2023, machine simulation will be showcased by Cimco and CAMplete – both will be presenting programming solutions and how to avoid collisions.

Experts from trusted partners Verisurf, Scantech, Zoller and Heidenhain will also be at the event to support customers and discuss opportunities for manufacturers. Technical partners such as Walter Tooling and Lehmann workholding for rotary axis equipment will also present their latest technology and offering their expert advice.
