Collect and deliver degreasing service launched

'Metalwash Launderette', a collection and delivery service that supports the restoration and cleaning of portable parts and machinery, has been launched by Metalwash.

Although citing vintage car owners, garages and antique aeroplane restoration as examples, the company says the service is for any part that requires cleaning and degreasing. Metalwash, based near Minchinhampton in Gloucestershire, offers degreasing and cleaning equipment on a service-hire basis, but has identified a need for environmentally-friendly cleaning of industrial and machine parts for companies and private owners for whom the hire of a specialist cleaning machine on a long-term basis is not viable. The service is aimed at businesses that have a requirement for smaller items to be regularly cleaned and refurbished, with rust, degreasing, ingrained dirt and paint being the most common issues. Announcing his new enterprise, founder and CEO James Marshall (pictured) said: "We have had many customers getting in touch who do not have the need to hire an on-site machine from us for long term use, but instead prefer us to clean their items for them. With the Metalwash Launderette, we are now able to offer a regular door-to-door service, collecting components and returning them restored to their former glories."
