Delcam’s FeatureCAM for digital prototyping

FeatureCAM software applications have been tested by Autodesk engineers to ensure that they meet the standards set for robustness, quality and interoperability with the latest version of Inventor, the Digital Prototyping software that enables engineers to design, visualise and simulate products before they are built. "One of our aims with Inventor 2011 was to dramatically accelerate design times, so that our customers can turn their designs into manufactured products as quickly as possible. The latest version of FeatureCAM supports the latest hardware developments, including multi-threading to speed up toolpath calculations, which shortens overall product development times." said Tim Gray, director of Inventor product management at Autodesk.
