Craftsman Tools' EMO presence underlines toolholder and workholding expertise

Award-winning precision engineers Craftsman Tools will once again be exhibiting at the EMO fair this month.

The UK-based manufacturer will be showcasing its toolholding and workholding equipment, which is supplied to a wide range of OEMs, blue-chip companies and global cutting tool businesses. New products on show at EMO include static tooling for new Mazak machine tool models, such as the Mazak Smart series, as well as a range of split boring bar holders, suitable for both anti-vibration and standard tuning bars for a number of major machine tool manufacturers. As usual, there will be examples of the company's Craftsman Capto toolholders and Craftsman Capto integrated turrets. On the workholding front, there will be examples of Craftsman Tools' engineering expertise in the form of bespoke expanding mandrels, collet-type workdrivers and rotating centres for CNC lathes. On this occasion, the impressive cube range will not be on show, although there will be plenty of material to illustrate the standard and specialised cubes that Craftsman Tools can offer. Robert Johnson, managing director of Craftsman Tools says: "We are very excited at flying the flag for British manufacturing on such an important international stage that is EMO. In spite of current trading conditions, we are confident that this will be our best show yet and that we will reap the rewards of having a presence at the show over the next 12 months." Craftsman Tools will be exhibiting in Hall 5 at stand A63.
