Displaying readings through either analogue/digital indicators or transducer probes/read-out systems, the easy-to-use, cost- effective gauges boast a long list of standard features and useful accessories, including – constant measuring pressure, rack and pinion capacity adjustment, movable depth stops, heat resistant ergonomic polymer hand-grips, groove measuring attachments, indicator protection guards and an optional bench stand.
Bowers claim that, within the stated capacity of the range, its flexible Snapmatic gauges are able to accommodate countless external measuring applications. However, inexpensive adaptations of standard gauges can be manufactured to enable many non-standard measuring tasks to also be performed.
