Pneumatic Stark workholding system - Speedy Airtec

Stark Speedy Airtec System is ideal for clean area and oil-free applications in industries such as food processing and medial technology. Airtec system 5000 units are designed to reduce set-up times and increase productivity and are designed to be safe to operate. The system can be designed in to new and or existing set-ups due to its modular design. The unit comes as standard with 20 kN of retention force working at 6 bar air pressure. The system is locked by a series of wedges against the inserted nipple and only when 6 bar of air pressure is coupled up will the system be ready for fixture change. Four types of units are available each with different advantages: the ability to air blow off of table surface, an integral central sealing system, the ability to keep coolant and swarf away from critical areas and a positioning datum on the front face of the unit.
