Bowers Group releases new Moore & Wright height gauge through distributor network

Bowers Group has introduced the new Moore and Wright MW198 height gauge – which is manufactured in Switzerland by Trimos.

The Mw198 is available exclusively through Bowers Group’s distributor network in the UK and via export.

This new M&W198-40DBLis a manual height gauge has been developed for the most difficult workshop environments. Fitted with Trimos’ E1 Black Mask display, it offers exceptional contrast in all lighting conditions, which is a unique characteristic on the market.

Bowers Group UK sales director Martin Hawkins, said: “The new Moore & Wright MW198 is an exciting new product which bolsters our existing range of height gauges.

“The new model features the unique 2-line Black Mask display that offers fantastic visibility in all settings, and having been manufactured by Trimos, it promises to offer a reliable, precise and robust solution to height measurement.”

The M&W MW198 boasts a 406mm height capacity and includes a setting gauge with 4mm gauge block. The design includes one single front located probe holder, and a robust, cast iron base. Supplied with an external power supply as standard, the MW198 is also available with battery as an option.
