Pilot 1.0 image processing software offers a range of functions that help the pre-setting and measuring of standard tools, such as: automatic cutter shape and measuring range detection; a navigation system called ‘Compass’; a projector function and edge inspection; and ‘Cris360°’ circular response image sampling to determine real and active dimensions on tools.
‘Turning Advisor’ software function makes it possible to define different tool positions on turn-mill machines. This prevents the need for countless adapters being set up on the tool pre-setter and measuring device in order to suit every situation on the turning machine, thus saving time.
