Yaskawa launches MotoSim Touch robotics simulation tool

The MotoSim Touch from Yaskawa is a PC-based offline programming environment and robotics simulation tool designed specifically for schools, training organisations and educational research institutions. It provides a virtual robotics experience and teaches industry-recognised, career-ready robotics skills.

Using MotoSim Touch, students can toggle between a virtual pendant and hardware pendant mode, while learning to program and model industrial robots in a safe, virtual environment. In either mode, students utilise ‘MotoSim EG-VRC for Education’, an offline programming and simulation software package.

Students can learn how to enter and modify data to create a robot job; perform collision detection, reach analysis and cycle time calculations; perform testing and diagnostics; and download the robot job to the robot controller.
