WNT promotes MCR Monstermill solid carbide endmill
WNT claims the MCR Monstermill solid carbide endmill offers four times the feed rate and three times the tool life compared to its standard cutters.
The MCR Monstermill is part of WNT's HPC range and features a rough milling profile and cutting geometry combined with irregular pitched flutes for a high performance soft cutting action and smaller chips. This puts less strain on the machine tool, a particular advantage when used on machines with lower spindle power.
The MCR Monstermill is in its element in dry machining of steel and cast iron where its TiAIN tool coating enhances tool life. It can also be used with coolant for machining stainless steel.
The cuttters are capable of slot milling to 1.5XD in 1 to 20 mm diameter, with three flute lengths being available in certain sizes.
