WAX for high productivity aluminium machining

The problems encountered with aluminium chips welding themselves to the cutting edge are eliminated as the blue coloured coating resists chip adhesion and allows the chips to curl into a tight comma shape for quick and easy evacuation. Heat is transferred from the workpiece and the cutting edge into the chip. High feedrates and increased tool life provide substantial reductions in tool cost, cycle time and tool change downtime, while the elimination of coolant boosts compliance with ISO14001 environmental standards.
