Designed for grinding rotationally symmetrical tools such as cutters, hob cutters, drills, step drills and profile tools of HSS, ceramic, cermet and CBN, from 3 to 315 mm diameter, the latest generation machine is characterised by features that include linear drives for the linear axes, high torque motors for the rotational axes and a patented gantry design.
The Helitronic Vision 400L can additionally feature an optional belt drive spindle for the automated changing of grinding wheel sets. In conjunction with options for either double- or motor-spindle variants, the belt drive facility now also permits a variety of configurations to suit customer needs and budgets.
