Walter Helicheck machines now accommodate tools 730 mm long
Walter Machines UK has extended the measuring range of its Helicheck Pro and Helicheck Plus tool measuring machines to accommodate tools up to 730 mm long.
With the 'L' option, Helicheck users can measure an extended range of micro-tools, standard tools or, indeed, extremely long tools on the same accurate (E1 = 1.4 + L/300 micron) Helicheck system. Without the 'L' option, both the Walter Helicheck Pro and Plus can handle tools up to 300 mm long.
The machines have X, Y and Z axes of 260 by 795 by 250 mm respectively, and an A axis of 360º. The Pro features three cameras: one each for transmitted and reflected light, and another forehead camera; while the Helicheck Plus has one additional transmitted light camera with 400 times magnification for the measurement of micro tools.
