Depending on tool weight and length, up to 2,000 tools with a maximum weight of 1.5 kg and a maximum length of 280 mm can be loaded automatically. Each tool is measured, recorded and separated on the pallets (four standard; optionally eight), distinguishing between good tools or scrap.
The use of the new robot loader on the Helitronic Power Diamond's HSK toolholder, for example, means tools weighing a maximum of 5 kg, up to 350 mm long and up to 125 mm diameter can be accommodated.
