Voortman V302 plate cutter available from Cutmaster Machines

Voortman Steel Machinery has introduced its compact V302 plate cutting machine. Available in the UK from Cutmaster Machines, the V302 can be delivered with a plasma cutting torch, an oxy-fuel torch or a plasma/oxy-fuel combination.

The machine can cut plate from 3 to 100 mm thick at cutting speeds of up to 7 m/min. Rapid traverse rates are 20 m/min.

The Voortman V302 is said to offer high definition plasma cutting with the use of either Hypertherm or Kjellberg consumables, and is equipped with Voortman Height Control (VHC), a magnetic plasma torch holder and user-friendly software.
