A range of precision front and back, bi-face radius cutters has been launched by Toolex. Two types of cutter are available: mini with two flutes in four radius sizes from 0.2 to 0.5 mm; and standard with three flutes in 10 radius sizes from 0.5 to 3.0 mm. All feature a tolerance of ±0.02 mm on the radius.
The cutters have a constant relief profile to ensure good surface finish and are suitable for longitudinal and interpolated machining on the front and back of surfaces and holes.
