The Trumpf TruTool TKF 2000 offers one-step 20 mm bevels

At last, Trumpf division can offer a portable power tool for weld edge preparation capable of producing 20 mm bevels in a single pass. The TruTool TKF 2000 beveller allows the production of smooth and uniform, high quality oxide-free edges for heavy fabrication.

The modular design TruTool TKF 2000 beveller can be equipped with or without forward feed. This feature takes all the effort out of the task of processing straight edges on long sheets. Once the beveller has been set up it feeds itself continuously along the weld edge at an infinitely adjustable speed. The TruTool TKF 2000 beveller allows the bevel angle to be easily adjusted from 20° to 55° and it can be used on sheet thicknesses from 10 to 50 mm. The manual drive version can bevel curved edges with a minimum inner radius of 125 mm; the forward feed version can cope with 500 mm minimum inner radius. Automatic feed at up to 2 m/min uses less energy so weld edge preparation with the new TruTool TKF 2000 is also economical, explains Trumpf, and this cost efficiency is complemented by the ability to re-grind the cutting tool numerous times.
