Software package for robot system integrators and users

Roboguide is a software package that will allow significant reductions in design and programming time for robot systems integrator and programmers. For system integrators, a Fanuc Robotics virtual robot controller and programming capability operates within the 3D feature-rich simulation tool. Designers can choose from a wide range of 'drag and drop' customisable objects, such as conveyors or machine tools. Alternatively, CAD models of existing parts, fixtures and grippers can be imported in IGES format. Users can programme the robot using familiar Fanuc TP commands. In addition to recordingmid-air tool locations, Roboguide can generate a trajectory along a virtual objects, such as moving across the face of a table. There are a number of application-specific plug-ins, including MotionPRO which supports optimisation of program cycle time.
