Seco expands and strengthens its Turbo 10 square shoulder milling cutter offering
Seco Tools (UK) has significantly expanded its Turbo 10 square shoulder milling cutter product line with inserts now available with corner radii ranging from 0.4 to 3.1 mm and geometries designed to meet specific challenges, such as aluminium, stainless steels, titanium alloys and other difficult-to-machine alloys.
A further addition, the Seco Turbo 10 helical range, is aimed at helical shoulder milling operations that require process stability, flexibility and high precision. Turbo 10 helical cutters are available in diameters ranging from 20 to 54 mm and include Weldon, Seco Weldon, Combimaster heads, Seco-Capto and Arbor mounting options.
All cutters in the Turbo 10 family have precision milled pocket seats for improved run-out, stability and tool life by providing optimal contact between the tool body and insert. Integrated through-coolant channels support high productivity and chip evacuation.
Turbo 10 cutters can be used for slotting, shouldering, ramping, facing, pocketing, plunging and turn milling applications.
