Sandvik Coromant offers coated cemented-carbide grade GC4325
Sandvik Coromant has introduced the GC4325 grade for high cutting speed steel turning. Both the substrate and coating have been developed to better withstand high temperatures and maintain the insert edge line.
As well as the potential for increasing cutting speeds, Sandvik Coromant says the GC4325 grade should provide a longer, more predictable tool life with very high reliability over an extended broad ISO P25 application area. This includes such different materials as ductile low carbon steels, high alloy hard steels, bar material, forgings, castings and pre-machined parts.
