A winner of the WorldStar Packaging Award for 2013/2014, the patented BlockPack opens as it turns via its TwistLock closure technique and ratchet length adjustment (see video here). The product range now covers tool diameters of 8-105 mm and effective lengths of 50-620 mm. It is available as standard in natural PE material from stock.
The two-piece protective packaging combines two essential functional product advantages, says Rose Plastic: the bayonet-type twist lock technology, for smooth slide opening of the tube; and the ratchet length adjustment, for individual securing of product content.
BlockPack requires only a minimum operating opening force for length adjustment, offering both the manufacturer and end-user effortless opening of the packaging. A quick ‘click’ is required to engage both parts and a simple rotation of about 10° sets the desired length.
Special contoured tube ends, lateral stiffening ribs and an integrated base provides stability and give a cushioning effect. BlockPack is available with an optional clip on/off hanger system, making it one of the most universal tool packaging on the market today.
