Roemheld unveils low-cost PC 80 pallet vice

Roemheld has launched a pallet vice system that is said to offer a simple, compact design at an economical price. The PC 80 clamping systems have been designed to provide high precision and process safety, says the company. The vices are pitched at the manufacture of small and medium sized batches and can be used in pallet magazines within automated systems.

Roemheld PC 80 vices are operated mechanically and can be used for either fixed jaw or concentric clamping applications. All-steel in design, the range is supplied with jaws that are designed to offer a high retention force even with low clamping forces. For example, with an 80 mm jaw width, a maximum force of 20 kN at 60 Nm can be achieved.

Mounting holes to customer specifications can be provided, while the simple design of the clamping system enables easy disassembly and cleaning, says Roemheld.
