Roemheld hydro-mechanical clamping nut fits in limited space
The latest addition to the Roemheld quick die change range, the hydro-mechanical clamping nut, provides up to 150 kN clamping in a limited space without the use of hydraulics.
Designed for clamping and locking dies on press beds and rams, the Roemheld hydro-mechanical clamping nut can be manually tightened and released in seconds. A high clamping force is quickly achieved despite the low torque.
A continuous thread means the clamping nut can be used for different clamping heights and tolerances. It can be easily retrofitted onto existing systems to increase clamping force achievable when multiple clamping is required. Visual clamping force monitoring is available as an option.
