Fanuc has developed a range of integrated sensor systems for use on its Intelligent Robot range.
So, for example, a robot with force and 3D vision sensors is able to locate and assemble gears to a gearbox gear by feeling the fit. Parts are assemblies requiring H7 tolerances can be supported.
