Precision rod laser welding of delicate components

The StarPulse new generation pulsed YAG rod lasers have power ratings from 40 to 500 W. They are suitable for precision welding of delicate components using accurately controlled low end pulse peak power of 10 W. With up to 20 kW of pulsed peak power available, high quality welding on highly reflective materials such as aluminium and copper up to 2 mm thick can be achieved at high processing speeds. Simple and efficient operation of the StarPulse system is achieved using the colour TFT touch screen which has many useful features including graphical user interface and menu selection; integrated online help functions; real time diagram of the actual pulse shape; simple process and parameter setting and removable user panel – for integration into the production system
