Max workpiece weight: 450 kg (V2); 800 kg (V3)
Cutting speed: 300 mm2/min
Surface finish: Ra 0.2 µm (>Ra 0.1 µm with SF Module)
The machines are equipped with the very latest powerful and proven Agie IPG-V digital generator and the advanced AGIEVISION 5 control. The machines are competitively priced and are packed with significant productivity-enhancing features that come as standard.
To ensure ease of use and optimised EDM performance, the Classic machines have Agie Teccut capability. Teccut technology enables the most effective, and efficient, pulses to be selected according to individual workpiece variables (workpiece height, shape, material, surface quality and accuracy required etc) – and generates the most appropriate cutting technology from an extensive database of pulses to ensure that customer performance requirements are met.
Part accuracy and surface quality are affected by conditions in the spark-gap. Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) technology ensures that these conditions are closely and continuously monitored and measured in ‘real time’ and fed-back – to ensure that the original machining objectives are achieved.
Classic machines have eCut technology which enables the use small diameter wires (0.1 to 0.15 mm) to maintain high cutting speeds and achieve superior accuracy and homogeneous surface finishes – especially when machining contours and tight radii.
Classic machines have a 25 kg wire spool capacity to enable long, unattended EDM machining operations to be undertaken.
All Classic machines are equipped with a universal clamping frame designed to handle multiple machining applications – and obviating the need for customers to invest in additional (expensive) tooling.
