OMAX division MAXIEM unveils 16 new waterjet profiling machines

MAXIEM Waterjets, a division of OMAX Corporation, has expanded its line-up of waterjet cutting centres to include 16 new machines.

Falling within the 2000 Series, 3000 Series and 4000 Series, all mimic OMAX's premium waterjet machines, as they use the OMAX 3,450 bar direct drive pump technology and share advanced features such as the robust Intelli-MAX Software and Intelli-TRAX linear drive technology for superior performance in harsh abrasive waterjet environments. The MAXIEM 2000 Series features X-Y cutting travel areas ranging from 6,096 by 2,032 mm to 14,224 by 2,032 mm. The MAXIEM 3000 Series offers X-Y cutting travel areas ranging from 4,064 by 3,048 mm to 16,256 by 3,048 mm. The 4000 Series provides X-Y cutting travel areas ranging from 8,128 by 4,064 mm to 16,256 by 4,064 mm. Other OMAX machine features shared with the MAXIEM ranges include: floor or tank mounting options for expanded configuration possibilities; easy access USB ports and power/pause controller interfaces; high pressure track plumbing for additional X-axis coverage; and DualBRIDGE System compatibility, which see two Y-bridges for increased productivity. "Through our OMAX and MAXIEM lines, we provide the highest quality, most diversified line of abrasive waterjets in the industry," claims Dr John Cheung, CEO of OMAX. "Our vast array of solutions not only provides unmatched performance in a variety of price points, it also makes us the only waterjet partner you'll ever need."
