Available from 2D CNC Machinery, the large trunnion unit has a 360° B-axis and A-axis tilt of between +20 to -110°, which moves into and out of the machining zone on the 820 mm Z-axis to perform loading/unloading and machining cycles.
The 20 tonne machine features a column that moves right and left along the 1,050 mm X-axis. Y-axis travel is 900 mm, while rapid traverse rates available are up to 75 m/min.
Positioning accuracy in the X, Y and Z axes is ±0.002 mm over the complete travel, with repeatability of ±0.001 mm. When optional linear scales are specified, positioning accuracy is improved to ±0.001 mm, with repeatability of ±0.0005 mm.
