Objet30 Pro desktop 3D rapid prototyping machine can combine seven materials
Objet's 820 by 620 by 590 mm Object30 Pro rapid prototyping 3D printer offers the capability to combine seven different materials, including clear transparent, high temperature resistant and rigid opaque polypropylene within a desktop machine. These materials can now be used with four other rigid Vero materials in grey, black, blue and two versions of white in a single net model size having a working volume within 294 by 192 by 148.6 mm. Previously, says Objet, this could only be achieved by higher end 3D machines.
The build rate of Objet30 Pro desktop printer is up to112 cm3/hr for opaque material and up to 600 cm3/hr for transparent materials. The resolution, through its twin printing heads is 600 dpi in X- and Y-axes and 900 dpi in the vertical Z-axis. It will produce horizontal layers each 28 micron thick in most materials and 16 micron in transparent materials.
Accuracy is within 0.1 mm, subject to the geometry of the part, its size, orientation, material and post-processing method. The workstation is compatible with Windows XP, Windows 7 32/64 bit.
