Mobile laser-based measurement
Following the acquisition of Steintek GmbH, Wenzel Group has now launched MobileScan3D, a mobile, laser-based CNC measurement system.
Having a measuring range of 100 mm to 1,500 mm and a repeatability of better than 5µm, it is a reliable and effective solution for first article prototypes, as well as inspection to CAD data.
MobileScan3D offers a fully automated or semi-automated process for production or single measurements. A rotary table is available as an option to allow true portable metrology and analysis.
Software controls laser power and sensitivity, and it can be used on nearly any material or colour, or in any lighting condition.
The system comes complete with Geomagic software to provide full analysis of scanned data.
