Missler and Dako collaborate over TopSolid’Mold interface
Missler Software and Dako have collaborated in the design of an interface for TopSolid'Mold for a number of online mould-making manufacturer catalogues. (In fact, Dako has developed the catalogue application for companies such as BryRubio Spain, Hasco, Isoform, Meusburger and Rainer Knarr which enables them to market parts in this way.)
The download of native CAD data is available free of charge. The connection to CAD from the manufacturer catalogue is achieved by the universal interface WorldCAT-CIF. DAKO uses this interface as a link between catalogues and all CAD systems.
The interface means that components and parts can now be downloaded in a native TopSolid format. This implies that the part metadata are always correct and that the TopSolid operator will always work with the most up-to-date components. Data such as the bill of material, sketches, history and model tree are also provided.
