Made for pure water jet cutting

The WARDJet JX-813 waterjet cutting table has been designed specifically for cutting materials with pure water.

This would typically include foam, rubber, insulation, plastic, acrylics, cloth, leather and fibreboard. Unlike many other machines currently available, the JX-813 has been designed specifically for pure water cutting and has not been adapted from an abrasive machine. As such, it has a number of features which maximise the potential of pure waterjet cutting in terms of speed of cut, high throughput and high accuracy. The JX-813 can achieve cutting speeds of 63 m/min, with acceleration of 6 m/sec2. Material can be fed through the machine from all four sides to speed up the loading process and, for extra flexibility, can also be fed through the machine in either direction, so users are not limited to one side. Self loading systems, either bun loaders or chain feed systems, are available. Pinch rollers are available to feed the system - all synchronized to the speed of the chain. Laser sensors allow automatic loading and unloading of the materials and loading from large rolls of material or sheets is possible. Accessories such as bar code reading, marking, multiple heads are also available. Safety features are included, such as over-ride Stop and Go buttons, which can be operated from all four corners of the machine. This allows the entire system to be loaded, run, and unloaded by just one operator. Water pressures from 60,000 psi to 90,000 psi, and 30 hp, 50hp, 75hp, 100hp and 150hp pumps are available. For use with the machine, Wightman Stewart offers the X Series dual touch screen controller. This has a number of advanced features, including: a touch screen interface; internet connection for instant automatic updates; a direct web-cam communication link to WARDJet technical support; simultaneous multiple-head 5-axis capability; and taper compensation. Remote wireless pendant operation is also available.
