LVD brings benefits of CNC adjustable V-die to PPEB and Easy-Form press brakes
The LVD Vari-Vee V30-140 CNC adjustable V-die is available for the company's complete range of PPEB and Easy-Form precision press brakes. This smaller version of LVD's heavy duty Vari-Vee option offers the benefits of a variable and adjustable bottom V-die to LVD press brake models from 320 to 1,000 tons and up to 8 m in length.
LVD's Vari-Vee die provides automatic adjustment of the V-width in increments of 10 mm, reducing set-up time and increasing bending operation flexibility.
The variable die allows the bending of sharp angles up to 50º for the maximum V-width. This is especially valuable when forming high strength materials because of the significant spring back. The radius of the V-die is a hardened insert machined from LVD's patented Stone compound.
LVD says its Vari-Vee V30-140 is suitable for applications that demand bending of different thicknesses of material; frequent die changes; bending thick materials with large V widths or different radii on the same component, as well as bending high strength materials that tend to crack while being bent.
