LTA software from Soag simulates air distribution
LTA Lufttechnik's simulation software works with a digital tool to help optimise the planning and configuration of air filtration and extraction units. The software is able to analyse the air flow and heat distribution in plants, even before they are built. Available in the UK from Soag GB, the program entails the simulation and calculation of flow conditions, temperatures, pressures, speeds and volume flows. Digital simulation allows experimental processes and variants which are difficult to implement in practice to be displayed and calculated on screen.
Based on analytical data from the simulation tool, all the components of air filtration and extraction units are configured to fit the projected requirements. Calculation of the required extraction volume, for instance the air exchange rate at the extraction point of a grinding machine, allows dimensioning and piping layout. A final report illustrates the simulation results and supplies the relevant conclusions.
