Kitamura Mytrunnion 4G from Leader offers flexibility and speed

Designed specifically for manufacturers that demand the utmost in machining flexibility, Leader CNC has launched the Kitamura Mytrunnion 4G 5-axis machining centre, which achieves maximum spindle speed of 15,000 rpm in just 2.3 seconds. According to Kitamura, this makes it the world's fastest accelerating spindle.

And to help maximise material removal rates, the machine is fitted with a 15 kW directly-driven spindle with a BT40 taper (HSK63 optional).

The Mytrunnion 4G offers accuracy levels of ±0.002mm and repeatability of ±0.001mm; achieved largely by the hand-scraping of all major sub-assemblies, coupled with linear scale feedback on all axes.

It can accommodate a maximum workpiece diameter of 500 mm on its rotary trunnion table and 400 mm work height in the Z-axis, with the ability to accept billets up to 200 kg. The Kitamura Mytrunnion 4G has a tilting table that rotates -120° to +30° in the A axis, with C-axis rotation of 360°.
