Incorporating linear guides for vastly superior cutting quality, dynamic kinematics, helical drives, astounding rigidity and precision, the LINC-CUT Fiber laser has rapidly emerged as the industry benchmark. Introduced to the UK in 2024, Kerf Developments presented the LINC-CUT Fiber 1530A, a 3m by 1.5m bed machine that the 2040A model complemented, as a larger 2m by 4m variant.
The LINC-CUT Fiber Series has been expanded at both ends of the size spectrum. A smaller 1020 drawer model with a 1m by 2m bed has been added for compact work areas whilst a 2m by 6m 2060A model has also been introduced for manufacturers processing larger sheets or multiple parts in a single set-up.

Available as a 3kW, 6kW, or 12kW machine, the LINC-CUT Fiber perfectly synchronises the laser cutting and axis movements to deliver unsurpassed precision, repeatability, and cutting speed. This is assured by an auto-focus laser head with automatic gas and cutting height calibration that delivers optimum repeatability and a compact laser source with a Fiber core diameter of 75μm for superior cutting quality.
The exciting series also incorporates a state-of-the-art CNC system that integrates with two surveillance cameras to control and monitor all machine operations. With drawing software and automated nesting, the innovative control system includes a database of parameters for all material types and thicknesses.
Further innovations include the flycut, fast-cutting, smooth microjoint, frame border, circle centring, and collision avoidance, which enhance productivity and cutting speed. Advanced technology also permits the contouring of fine parts and the ability to hold and process small parts securely. With rapid axis movements of 110m/min, and positional accuracy of 0.03mm, the LINC-CUT Fiber series demonstrates why it is the future of Fiber laser cutting with an impressive number of sales since its UK introduction.
