ITW SCRUBS help customers to reduce landfill

ITW Industrial Solutions has launched its popular SCRUBS range of ultra-strong cleaning wipes in a refill pack to help customers reduce the amount of plastic they send to landfill.

The cleaning towels are designed for use in a range of industrial environments. Thanks to their NSF E4 registration, SCRUBS are also suitable for use in food production environments on machinery located in the immediate vicinity of food production lines. Their distinctive blue colour and large size make the wipes easily recognisable in any manufacturing environment.

The double-sided fabric dissolves a wide range of hard-to-remove residues – glue, paint, carbon or graphite – as well as lubricant, grease, oil, tar, or bitumen residues from surfaces, hands and tools.

The textured, non-abrasive side is ideal for removing deposits from surfaces without scratching or damage, making them ideal for quick surface or tool cleaning. The non-textured side offers quick and effective hand cleaning without damaging the skin. The wipes also contain softening agents to further protect skin.

Each refill pack contains 72 wipes and saves users over 90% of plastic in comparison with buying a new SCRUBS bucket.

Max Reynolds, product manager at ITW Industrial Solutions, said: “Cleaning wipes are used daily in industrial environments. Companies that opt for refillable consumables are helping to actively reduce their carbon footprint and making a valuable contribution to greater environmental sustainability.

“We know that many of our customers are looking at ways of decarbonising their operations, and making a refill available for our popular SCRUBS product takes them another step in that direction.”
