Hexagon Metrology CMM controller retrofits immediately available

RC1 can interface with coordinate measuring machines from most manufacturers, whether large or small. RC1 belongs to the large family of DC controllers produced by Hexagon Metrology and uses the identical technology platform. The controller is equipped with R-TUNE technology, which allows an automatic tuning of the CMM whose system components are unknown beforehand. This process takes just a short time and requires no specialist intervention. RC1 can adapt itself to the different types of machine directly in the field and can choose between many available configuration options, in order to update its measurement system. These options include the support for the entire Hexagon Metrology probe head range, including the motorised indexing probe heads. Support for high speed scanning is available as an option, with heads and probes produced by all manufacturers in the industry catered to. Linear temperature compensation of machine axes is also optionally available.
