Heidenhain makes alignment easier on uprated Lida 200 encoder
Heidenhain's latest Lida 200 ±15 micron/metre accuracy exposed linear encoder features a three-colour LED on the scanning head. This will make it easier to align the scanning head with the linear scale and any potential problem to be quickly diagnosed.
The status display on the Lida 200 makes checking signal quality quick and easy, explains Heidenhain. It provides qualified status of incremental signals (via LED colours/blinks) and reference mark signal (by pass/fail display).
The Lida 200 is available in lengths up to 10 m and is aimed a general manufacturing and automation applications
