This new press has a fast ram speed to improve productivity, thereby reducing component costs and providing a fast payback time. It is designed to apply insertions into thin gauge materials and other sophisticated insertion applications, where absolute repeatability (+/-0.5 per cent) is critical. It has a force range from 4-72 kN, a throat depth of 610 mm and throat height of 342 mm.
