GibbsCAM now interoperable with Rhinoceros

A new interoperability capability allows GibbsCAM to directly accept data from Rhinoceros, a surface modelling application for machining. GibbsCAM’s support for Rhinoceros is available as a freely distributed Rhino plug-in that allows Rhino 4.0 models to be sent directly to GibbsCAM from within a design session. Additionally, GibbsCAM has the ability to directly open Rhino 3DM files. Once the Rhino model is transferred, it is easy for GibbsCAM’s capabilities to create CNC programs to machine them.
