Gewefa releases Pibomulti SLA slim line angle head

The latest in a range of angle-heads from Pibomulti is a slim-line unit suited to machining in hard-to-reach areas such as those encountered in aircraft wing structures.

Available in the UK from Gewefa, the the angle-head can be positioned (if required) to drill a structure with just 1 mm of clearance between the edge of the hole and a right-angle face (while avoiding deflection and maintaining full machining power).

Although the unit features a very slim machining head profile, it maintains the features that are said to be associated with all Pibomulti tools – high standards of manufacture, strength and reliability.

SLA 'standard' heads are available in five variants offering different power (0.5 to 2 kW) and torque (1 to 8 Nm) options. Cutters of between 3 and 12 mm diameter can be accommodated
