Get ready for Jetcam Expert v18
Jetcam announced version 18 of its Expert CAM and nesting software at its global reseller conference held in London recently. Key features include an entirely new user interface, automatic sheet processing (ASP) and enhancements to the company's optional nesting module. An extensive list of further features is scheduled to be released in 2015.
The newly developed user interface draws much of its styling from Jetcam's CrossTrack product and focuses on reducing mouse movements in day-to-day operations. For example, the exit screen button is now top left of the horizontal icon bar on all screens, allowing for quick navigation back to the main menu.
ASP, available to all Expert Premium users, allows for completely automatic skeleton destruction, the unloading of parts, as well as common punching/shearing. Users now have the choice of applying tooling on the part, on the nest, or a combination of both.
